Outfit 11 - Gap Shirt Dress

I had been wanting a shirt dress that wasn't too long for my short stature for awhile, so you can imagine my excitement when I found this on one of my thrifting excursions.  That was awhile ago.  When I wore it this time around, I was bursting at the seams at the bust area.  Hahaha.  That's why I ultimately had to give this to my sister.  :(  Oh well, movin' on! 


I tried to casual it up with this short sleeved jacket.

 

A cardigan and pearls always makes an outfit look sweeter.  Please excuse how wrinkly this dress looks.  I did attempt to iron it though!

 

Ah, my new favorite purse!  How faithful you are!

    I have the same problem of bursting at the seams near bust.. I notice that if I wear a nice slip underneath and let the buttons of the top or dress at the bust undone, it creates a whole new look, creating a v line which flatters me.

    I love the pictures of the process! I almost never have troubles with that part of a button-up, but rather around the belly area . . . and yes, I always end up giving things to my sister, too! Though I recently discovered that we actually wear about the same size (very similar measurements) except that she's about 6 inches taller! Hah!

    Anyway, you look verrrry cute in all outfit options, I say.

    I like the pearls and cardigan look a lot. Great dress and very versatile. Leave it unbuttoned and wear it with jeans or shorts. Really cute!
