Yep, a cardigan to sweeten up the look! Hehehehe. =P
And, before anyone freaks out (or not), this is NOT a Chanel purse, although I admit, it's meant to be a dupe of one. :D It's suppose to be a light pink color, but it kinda looks like a light beige color in these pictures.
After seeing several fellow petites with the real thing, I couldn't help but lust after one. But, I'm also a realistic person as well, and I recognize that I don't like to baby my purses and put them into dust bags or things like that after each use, so I looked for an alternative. That was only a small reason, as obviously the biggest reason was the price! I'm in no position to buy the real thing yet (or ever), so this is probably as close as it comes to having a Chanel-esque purse! I'm happy with it, but I admit, I feel a little embarrassed that it's obviously a dupe for the real thing. I almost feel like....a FRAUD!! (Which, admittedly, I am, based on this!) >_<

Um...I'm a total fraud, too. I haven't been labeling where some of my purses are from b/c I, ahem, got some of them in a back alley in NYC's Chinatown. Haha, I totally know what you mean about not taking care of handbags, too. Guilty! ;D
ReplyDeleteoooooo....that belt!!! (sorry, I tend to focus on the wrong items) I don't really feel very strongly for or against "inspired" things - after all, I am not against wearing an F21 version of last year's Miu Miu or an HM collab piece. If you love it and it's functional for your purpose, then what's the harm in that?
ReplyDeleteI love that dress, the pattern is too cute! Don't feel like a fraud. Your only a fraud if you try to pass it off for the real thing when you know it isn't. The purse is adorable regardless of the brand!
ReplyDeletethis dress looks great on you! that's a better strategy to buy things that fit well than the other way around (like how I use to shop, where I buy things that catch my eye but don't even try it on to see how I'd look in it, hehe). I love the color of the purse! I am actually looking for a fraudulent Chanel tweed jacket, haha..if you see one, sneak it to me. Hopefully next year though, since no buying for rest of year for me :(
ReplyDeleteCute dress! And the sweater really makes the look too!
ReplyDeleteYou shouldn't feel embarrassed about the purse - it looks great, who cares about the brand.
14 Shades Of Grey
pairing the dress with a cardi is such a good idea. I love the color combo

I love this outfit! Busy, but very pretty! And you toned it down nicely with the accessories, very expertly done!
ReplyDeleteThat's understandable, Target clearance racks are a deathtrap for me! I can't go in the store without being lured in. Haha. It's a great find! I love the purse too!
ReplyDeleteBri
Target clearance racks are dangerous - they have MANY cute things! Loving the bright summery colors on you - very vibrant :)
ReplyDelete@questforfashionsense.com - Hehehe. Awwww, thanks for sharing!! =P I guess we're both guilty too!!
ReplyDelete@Elle - That's okie! You're the only one that noticed my belt! I know you have a thing for belts though! ^_~ Thanks for the pep talk. I don't feel so bad anymore! Hahaha.
@Angela - Thanks!! I no longer feel like a fraud! =P
@Olyvia - I bet you can get some of those things that have caught your eyes tailored so they fit better! I know it's always best to find something that fits both criteria, but sometimes, I'm not picky. Hahaha. Ooooh, hopefully you can get your Chanel-inspired jacket next year! :D
@Salazar - Thanks! :D No more embarrassment!
@Alexandria - Thanks!
@Blue - Thanks for the compliments!
@Bri - Yes, Target sale racks are tempting. I know they mark down their inventory on Tuesdays, so I usually go on that day to get the newer markdowns before everyone else does!
@SewPetiteGal - I know! I need to stay away from Target entirely! Too bad it happens to be one of my favorite stores, as you can probably tell! =P
