Outfit 22 - Demin Dress + Denim Jacket

A couple of entries ago, I expressed my hesitation on the coolness of a denim skirt.  As if that weren't enough, today is a full on denim dress!  Who would've thunk-it, right?  I saw this dress on the rack of one of my favorite thrift stores, and a fashionably dressed little old lady told me how cute this would look on me.  Who was I to argue with a lil' old lady with style, right?  The dressing room was full, so I took a big risk and bought this without trying it on!  Good thing it would've only set me back $3.  =P


Surprisingly, it was a good fit!  I decided to break the rules and tried denim on denim!!  It's so much denim, I might just faint!  =P


Want it to get weirder???!!  In honor of good ol' 4th of July, I also tried on a red and pink striped cardigan!  Yep, I'm definitely feeling quite patriotic here, including the accessories and shoes, if you didn't notice already!  =P  Hope ya'll have a fun and safe 4th of July!  :D

    Dress + cardigan ... is such a great combination. Even when it's a denim dress!

    It's cute. Sometimes, denim can look scary but this looks pretty.

    I like it with the denim jacket :) I don't think I've ever owned a denim dress but this looks cute and not heavy at all. :)

    I like the denim on denim look! It surprisingly works very well! I'm impressed with your styling skills. I'm also impressed with you because your blog has a picture of Hello Kitty on it. Love!
