Is this the first time I have ever featured a scarf? Maybe! And in summer too, no less! What great timing! *Slight sarcasm there* =P I wanted the scarf to be useful as a shawl, which is what I attempted in the first picture. Here, I made sleeves! Hahaha.
I just tied it like I normally would...one of the few ways that I know how.
In this picture, I decided to get creative, and I can proudly say I did this all on my own (though I'm sure this is not an original scarf knot or anything!) I also thought the color of this cardigan went well with the skirt.
Here's a close-up of the bow. What's lame is that I'm pretty sure I won't be able to replicate this without much trying. =P
And here's the scarf that was used! The colors are a feast for the eyes! :D
Scarf - Thrifted
White Tank Top - Thrifted
Blue Skirt - Forever21
Necklace - Claire's
Cardigan - Target
Shoes - Sears + Glitter DIY
I'm also a big fan of the aqua blue + electric blue combination!
ReplyDeleteThis is a really cute look:) I love the skirt & the scarf! http://thelittlepetite.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeletethat is the prettiest bow-knot-tie thing I've seen done on a scarf! I can't seam to do anything with scarves than the usual, most basic way to wear them.
ReplyDeleteI love how you tie the scarf into sleeves. The bow is so cute too (it reminds me of something Peggy Olson might wear in Mad Men Season 1, when Joan told her "Men love scarves.")

I love the sleeves look and the bow at the neck look - super pretty! And I definitely don't blame you for liking this cobalt blue because it looks so good on you!
ReplyDeleteI like how you did the scarfs, very fun and versatile ways. Thanks for sharing and I love the color of your skirt! It's a simple but refreshing outfit. The scarf definitely add pizzaz!
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by my blog with your sweet comments!

@Salazar - The sleeves idea was just for fun, but seems to be receiving positive responses! Yay!
@SewPetiteGal - Thanks! Glad you love the cobalt blue color on me! You'll definitely be seeing more of that! :D
@Mongs - Thanks for the compliments! I love adding pizazz here and there, but not too much! ^_~
@LeeAnne, Style N Season - Yay! Looking forward to seeing it on you!
@kris - Awww, thanks! I wouldn't call it "brilliant", but I'll take it! ^_^
