Outfit 51 - Forest Green Embellished Shirt + Shorts

Oooh, both of these items are repeats!  Go me!  So this is what it must feel like to do the 30x30 Remix!  =P  It's hard work!!  Ahahahaha!   You know what I'm kinda self-conscious about?  Tan lines!!!  I wear skirts so often that when it comes time to wear shorts, the thighs are definitely less tanned than the calves!  >_<  I guess there's really no way around it, huh?  Unless I apply sunless-tanner to try to compensate.  Hmmmm....

I've actually worn the exact same shoes with this particular shirt.  The embellishments seem to match.

Shirt - Thrifted
Shorts - Thrifted
Belt - Thrifted
Shoes - Target
Bracelet - DIY

Errrrrrrm, so I know I certainly don't need anymore "cute" or quirky t-shirts in my wardrobe.  I'm too "grown-up" for that sort of thing, right???  WEEEELLLL......I just *COULD NOT* resist getting this shirt from Threadless!  I mean, HOW CUTE is that little sushi to the right, right???!!!! (It's so cute, I wanna scratch my eyeballs out!!!  0.o)  By the way, from now until October 11th,  all their t-shirts are only $10, with free shipping when you spend $60!  I love buying quirky shirts for the husband though.  *Sigh*  Guys have it so easy!  T-shirt + Jeans, and DONE!!  But, I think us girls definitely have more fun with our wardrobe styling options = LIMITLESS!

  3. I have certain pieces of clothing that I always wear together too (especially accessories.) What can you do, they're meant to be together!

And yes, that sushi T-shirt is adorable... almost too adorable to eat :P

  5. That shirt is cute! I'm also self conscious about tan lines, but I definitely think we notice it on ourselves and others don't notice it at all (unless of course there's a clear line...I've been guilty of that, heh). I like repeats--something I've been seeing is different ways that people have worn an item. I think that's useful to see how versatile a piece is.

  6. That sushi design is soooo super cute - I can see why you bought it :) I don't see a tan line on my computer so no worries there! Loving the shirt and shoes combo. I want to see a closer view of your DIY bracelet!

  8. I like the shorts. Gives your outfit a different look, but still fun.
And I LOVE Threadless! Just bought a bunch of shirts from them recently. I didn't see the sushi one though... now I totally want to buy more shirts! Nothing wrong with fun and cute shirts, I say. :)
