Outfit 14 - Another Brown Floral Skort + Leather Wrap Bracelet

Oh, there I go again with the neutral colors - particularly the browns!  >_<  And, not only that, it's another skort!!

I think the change of shoes gives it a much different feel.  I think I am digging the nude wedges more.  I think you might agree with me, am I right?  ^_~

The same ol' cardigan with my vintage purse.  I like how versatile the purse is.

I love the ruffles on the shirt!  The shirt also features a see-through panel near the chest area, so it could be interpreted as scandalous if one looks closely enough.  (Can't tell in this picture though!) ^_^;;;;

So, with the inspiration of SewPetiteGal and her awesome tutorial, I was able to make this bracelet!  Her site is great for petites and those of us into DIYs!  :)

Oddly enough, I enjoy the smell of the smells like....seaweed.  =D  Completing this bracelet was a proud moment for me!  Hahaha.  It did take several hours, but the results = LOVE!

Shirt: Thrifted
Skort: Thrifted
Cardigan: Target
Belt: Thrifted
Necklace: Icings
Bracelet: Handmade
Purse: Gifted
Boots: Steve Madden -
Wedges: Target

To end on a sour note....I recently tried "kefir" for the first time ever and it tastes like sour milk, but in a good way?  It's suppose to contain all sorts of good, gut-loving bacteria.  It reminds me very much of the original tart frozen yogurt flavor that is currently all the rage.  =D

  1. that outfit is oh-so-cute!!!! im not daring enough for a skort... but i really want one now since you make it look/ sound so cute! haha. i found you on thriftaholics anonymous today! i would love for you to come and check my blog out sometime!! p.s. im your newest follower!!

  2. I actually love the look with the boots and the wedges. The wedges make your legs look super long, so it probably more a "petite-do", but the slouchy boots makes the outfit more casual-boho, which is kind of cool! And the bracelet turned out nice! I like the edgy-ness of it :)

  3. I think the outfit looks fab with both the boots and the wedges. Just a different kind of awesome. Love the blouse and love the bracelet! I totally want to make one now.
And I just recently tried kefir for the first time too! I loved it, but I love stuff like that.

  4. Ooh, I love the shorter hem with the boots - so balanced and pretty!

I'm glad the bracelet turned out well! Thank you for the shout-out :)

  11. You know, I had to comment on this because I have been sitting in my office for 2 weeks wondering why I smelled like seaweed. I eventually realised it was my leather belt... weird!

  12. @Trovata - Woah!! Glad you can relate and that I'm NOT a weirdo!! :D
