I think the change of shoes gives it a much different feel. I think I am digging the nude wedges more. I think you might agree with me, am I right? ^_~
The same ol' cardigan with my vintage purse. I like how versatile the purse is.
I love the ruffles on the shirt! The shirt also features a see-through panel near the chest area, so it could be interpreted as scandalous if one looks closely enough. (Can't tell in this picture though!) ^_^;;;;
So, with the inspiration of SewPetiteGal and her awesome tutorial, I was able to make this bracelet! Her site is great for petites and those of us into DIYs! :)
Oddly enough, I enjoy the smell of the leather....it smells like....seaweed. =D Completing this bracelet was a proud moment for me! Hahaha. It did take several hours, but the results = LOVE!

To end on a sour note....I recently tried "kefir" for the first time ever and it tastes like sour milk, but in a good way? It's suppose to contain all sorts of good, gut-loving bacteria. It reminds me very much of the original tart frozen yogurt flavor that is currently all the rage. =D
that outfit is oh-so-cute!!!! im not daring enough for a skort... but i really want one now since you make it look/ sound so cute! haha. i found you on thriftaholics anonymous today! i would love for you to come and check my blog out sometime!! madisonavenue2011.blogspot.com... p.s. im your newest follower!!
ReplyDeleteI actually love the look with the boots and the wedges. The wedges make your legs look super long, so it probably more a "petite-do", but the slouchy boots makes the outfit more casual-boho, which is kind of cool! And the bracelet turned out nice! I like the edgy-ness of it :)
ReplyDeleteI think the outfit looks fab with both the boots and the wedges. Just a different kind of awesome. Love the blouse and love the bracelet! I totally want to make one now.
ReplyDeleteAnd I just recently tried kefir for the first time too! I loved it, but I love stuff like that.
Ooh, I love the shorter hem with the boots - so balanced and pretty!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad the bracelet turned out well! Thank you for the shout-out :)
super cute girl! Thanks so much for linking up hope to see you next week!

@madison avenue - Thanks! You should try skorts since they're actually less daring than skirts. =P Thanks for being my newest follower! I will definitely check out your blog!
ReplyDelete@Olyvia - Thanks for your perspectives on the two different shoe styles!
@K Blue - Yes, everyone should make a leather wrap bracelet! It's a good use of time while watching TV. :D

You know, I had to comment on this because I have been sitting in my office for 2 weeks wondering why I smelled like seaweed. I eventually realised it was my leather belt... weird!
ReplyDelete@Trovata - Woah!! Glad you can relate and that I'm NOT a weirdo!! :D
