I paired this skirt with another navy blue item that has never seen the light of day either. I have difficulty making long cardigans work for me. I think that was before I discovered that I didn't *need* to button them up all the way, or at all! When I buttoned it all up, it was not a pretty sight at the hips. >_<
Navy blue belt as well! I didn't have navy blue shoes though. I hope that's okay. I somehow got it in my head that black and navy blue aren't suppose to go together, like brown and black? But, the rules have certainly changed, I hope!
Oh, beautiful and structured white purse, how faithful you are!

That's a great office look (one I may use in the future!). Also, I hear you re: sizing in Asia. I was an XXL in Viet Nam in 2003...and my pants ripped after the second time I wore them!
ReplyDeleteI like this combination a lot. Cardigan looks great belted. And blue and black are one of my favs right now.
ReplyDeleteGreat skirt and so classy! Thanks for sharing on Thrifty THursday :)
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit. You look great in that skirt - SO flattering!
ReplyDeleteWhat a classy look! I really do love how you pair that structured white bag with various outfits - it adds a nice touch :)
ReplyDeleteI agree with you on Asian sizing - the last time I went to Hong Kong (5'2" and 102 lbs) I was very firmly size Medium. It was definitely a change of pace to be average and NOW, well I'm pretty sure I'm XL or XXL LOL.
Very chic and professional looking outfit. And I love how you work that white bag!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes... Asian sizing is insane. I remember one year when I was there a group of us walked into a shop and we were convinced we must be in a kid store because everything was so small... nope.
@questforfashionsense - Yes, feel free to use! Bwahaha, thanks for sharing the store of your pants ripping! =P So embarrassing! But, I'm sure you handled it with poise. :D
ReplyDelete@kris - Thanks!
@Modest Fashion Sense - Thanks, and as always, thanks for hosting!
@Abby - Thanks for the compliments!
@SewPetiteGal - Oooh, thanks for taking notice of my purse. I hope you don't get too sick of seeing it so often! =P It's okie to be an XL or XXL where you're at! ^_~
@K Blue - Thanks! I think I'd be thrilled to find a store where everything actually fit! Sometimes, small sizes are difficult to find, and I wouldn't mind being a larger size if there were more options available! =P
